I have a gym membership that I pay good money for but don't go to consistently. I am trying to change that. Each year I get a bit older, it gets harder to lose that extra four pounds I used to lose in a few days, LOL.
I think my eating habits are fairly on point--I have always eaten smaller meals throughout the day, rather than large meals once or twice and I limit my fast food consumption. I don't eat much fat or meat (no pork at all), but I do have a problem with carbs--LOVE pastas and breads...therefore, I try not to eat these after 5 PM. I focus on lunch as my "carbie-est" meal of the day. I do have a sweet tooth, but my key is: 1. I try not to buy it at the store and bring it home and 2. have two cookies instead of 10!
My problem is the exercise. I work such long hours, then a long commute to boot, I'm just not interested in also working out for a few hours 2-3 times a week. Just today though, a Soror and I have made the decision to work out together two days a week in the mornings. I'll keep you posted on how this goes.
