i enjoyed the finale and i will definitely miss this show. I was SO GLAD that Teri realized (and acted upon the realization) that she didn't have to prove anything to anyone. That moment made her "free" ... but i think she jumped back into bondage by marrying damon
... all in all i am glad she moved on to doing something in which she could find meaning in and affect peoples' lives, while still doing what she loved - law. I would have thrown the TV set if she did something foolish like say "forget law, i want to be a writer."
I can't believe Max and Kenny. They are some str8 up fools, for everything. I still want to know how much kenny sold his company for (i only remember he said they gave 200,000 over his asking price).
I hope there is a new movie... I would DEFINITELY love to see a soul food "family reunion" in the theater showing the Chadways, Carters, Van Adams and the KIDS growing up.
