What a sad thing to say, but very true. Soon you will forget those details, they will become nothing more than a shadow in the back of your mind that will come up from time to time when something - a familiar smell, sound, whatever reminds you. And on a happy note, I tend to find that what is left in my consciousness in the very end is only the good memories... for me anyway. The bad memories become insignificant and just remind you of the foolishness of your youth.
