No, DeltaAlum did not miss the point.

Risk insurance is not by a Group of Greek Organizations, but by each one.

Corporations, yes:

Cost, Yes:

Where do your fees and dues go?

1. Having National Hdqs.

2. Having a paid staff to run day to day fundimentals.

3. Having People travel from chapter to chapter to work with them.

4. Getting prices on Badges, shirts, caps, etc. Try having a jeweler make your Badge!

5. Send out Your Organization News Letters.

6. Holding Area Regional meetings, like paying for the staff to be there to teach things.

7. Paying for taxes on National HQS, utilities, Insurance for the buildings. Traveling expenses for National Officers to come to Events.

It is funny, that this is brought up now, as when you graduate from school and start your house hold, guess what, it will start happening with you.

Ah it is so great to be a college student as there are so few things that must or need be to consider.

There are very few Greek Organizations who have a ton of money hidden back in a little room.

Why not ask YOUR NATIONAL how much it cost for Risk Management?

Whose fault is that when it gets so high

Is it YOUR Chapter or Your Fellow Brother and Sisters? Does everytime Your Greek Name is mentioned that the Risk Management Insurance go up?

It all comes down the long thread of belonging to a Greek Organization.
