I may be generalizing but the big thing I think some men miss is even though I can be superwoman from 9-5 and support myself and all that jazz doesn't mean I want to be in charge of things with regards to a relationship. I've heard several of my male friends say that I would make my future husband feel unnecessary because I can pretty much do anything I want to on my own. The thing they miss is I really want a very traditional relationship, which doesn't mean I'm gonna be doing the Donna Reed thing but on some level I think I have to respect my husband as the head of our household and we'll work out our expectations of each other from that point. So I guess I said all that to say just cause we can do it all alone doesn't mean we WANT to do it all alone.
