Sorry got to say i like the commando look. Though if it has too be something then i would go with boxer-briefs (mostly becuase they wont let the balls hang low and get stretched out)...I know tmi but come one i dont like stretched out members.
For ladies I would say thongs or a cute low cut piece of underwear
