Believe it or not I have a brand. Above my left ankle. In April of 1993, long after I became a Zeta, I and a few other sorors decided (after days of discussion) to all get branded. I did it for several reasons, one of which was because every now and then I answer challenges. And in answering this challenged (read dare) I - with my quiet, sensible self - did what many, some sorors and other greeks, thought I wouldn't do, got a brand.
I got questioned and I guess you'd say "congratulated" about it at first, during the healing stage. It healed and life went on. You have to look close to see it today. While branding is NOT for everyone - bold or not- mine is there and I can't change it so I have no regrets.
