I too had the same experience with the pins at the Founder's Day bruncheon here. I only saw one or two maybe in the whole crowd, and when I asked the girls who had invited me if dress was "pin attire" she said that they don't usually wear their pins. I too am very proud of my badge and my letters, and I wear them all the time, whether it be a bracelet, a necklace or my pin. I think this is definitely something we'll need to work on with our new chapters, maybe a program on being proud of your badge!
As far as pledging with this group goes, I am hoping that they don't plan on having me pledge again, however, most of them are new members and we'll just have to work out the details if they ask me to join.
