That being said, as long as the kids had the option to leave the room and were warned about what they were going to see, there was nothing wrong with showing it. However, showing it in an art class? Inappropriate. I don't want some dude who's schooled in DaVinci teaching my kid about current events. I think that's the issue here- he took it upon himself to abuse his position and teach kids a subject he was never ok'd to teach.
It wasn't just about the teacher not knowing the subject, it was also about spreading a political agenda of being against war.
