My problem with the Greek Shop's policy is that if I have to pay, I want the jacket MY WAY. Now if my chapter purchased the jacket as a gift, or that site was giving it to me for free, then that is a different story. As a store owner, how are you going to tell an adult customer what they can and cannot get on their clothing with their own money (Please see Delta jacket sample 12 or 13 posts back). No matter how we here on this thread felt about that jacket, the person who ordered it did have a right to get what they wanted from the vendor with their money with the understanding that whatever negative fallout occurred because of the jackets design was her responsibility.
What the Greek Shop is doing sounds like bad business to me. We all know smoking causes cancer, but because this is America, the government has not told us we cannot spend our money on cigarettes (I do not smoke by the way). That same freedom should apply to clothing purchases (on the part of the vendor). Now, if my org. amended our bylaws to state we have to wear letters on left side (i am breaking out in a cold sweat just thinking about that) then I would be one sad, but compliant Soror.

LOL, the Greek Shop, isn't telling you that have to get your letters on this side or that side.
They are simply telling you what they will and won't do.
A question, for the masses. In your respective organizations which came first the letters or the shield?
msn4med1975, in terms of the Greek World, what would be held closer to your heart than your letters?
