I've got to respectfully disagree with

The only way I will put the letters on the left side of my jacket is if there is no shield available for that side. In DC, the only way I have seen jackets made and worn is with the shield on the left and the letters on the right.
Perhaps, Iota-girl, that is why letters on the left don't look right to us!
I dunno.....not only do I not like how it looks, but your shield being over your heart just makes more sense to me.
