As someone who was called "white-washed" and "Uncle Tom" by Asians my age, I'm not surprised that it's these same people that are giving him his novelty.

Wouldn't finding his novelty be somewhat sadist. Deep down this guy knows we're laughing AT him, and people are taking PLEASURE in it.
I'm one of the many people who always say "get over it" or shrug shit like this off. But he's an embarassment to all those hard working Asians who try to deviate from that stupid, geeky stereotype as well as the rice rocket stigma.
