I don't even understand how the animals learn to survive since the habits of lions and tigers are so different. For instance, lions hunt and live in packs, whereas tigers tend to fly solo. So, who teaches these animals what to do? However, I guess they are bred and born into captivity, so it really doesn't matter. The idea is really just stupid.
