Gee I guess that whole American Rebellion, War of 1812, Fenian Raids, Boer War, World War I, World War 2, Korea, Peacekeeping, Afghanistan things that Canadians have died for were nothing.... hmm... we fight were and when we see a credible and convincing threat, so just because we didn't jump on the Bush's Baghdad or Bust Bandwagon doesn't make us cowards...

He's right. To attack Canada because they don't always agree with our viewpoint is short sighted and, frankly, arrogant. RA has been known to tick me off with what I sometimes consider smug and condecending comments about the US and particularly our Military, but there are very few countries who have been a better friend to us in both war and piece.
Further, if there is no Canadian law or US/Canadian treaty that is broken when a US Citizen chooses to go to Canada to avoid the draft, and I have never heard of one, there really isn't anything for Canada to do to those people is there?
So, until a law or treaty is in place, we should get off the high horse and respect their right to disagree.
