on a bright note:
Beta-Beta is wide awake. Tonight we initiated 9 quality men, raising our total for the year to 20. In initiating these guys, we have become the 4th largest chapter (out of 23 IFC chapters) at a 30,000 person university.
what have we done?
we implemented the Triangle Achievent Program for summertime recruitment....we have maintained solid relations with our alumni (in turn, we received a $3 million house which you can read about in The Teke magazine)....we became involved in as many clubs on campus as we could and used those as rush tools....we have had a TKE on the IFC exec. board for the past 5 years.
there are so many things that you can do! take it from a member of a chapter that went from 22 men in 1998 to 75 as of tonight.
I agree that it is hard work to stay on top, but when we assumed our bond, we promised to contribute all that we had to make TKE better. There's a challenge for everybody--DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE YOUR CHAPTER THE BEST IT CAN BE!!!
