i'm not sure about the ring. i'm looking at at least 1 ct. w/perhaps a platinum/gold band. i'm hoping to not have the Sex and the City scenario where Carrie hated Aidan's original ring (he cleaned up well though, w/the Harry Winston ring). i would like to be in on the planning in order to prevent any embarassing surprises
