The guy's name is Larry Star. He's in a band called The Buzz Cuts based out of Seattle. He's got a website now:
www.weddingdressguy.com. I just signed up for eBay, and someone interviewed him on eBay's radio station (?). The auction site had about 6 million hits, definitely a record. He said he found the gloves that went with the dress--be on the lookout!
