Knights of Apollo...cont'd
At TKE gatherings some alumni may be seen wearing the gold sash. Whenever seen, one might note that this frater has served the Fraternity well and has worn the sash with pride.
Several other honors have been created within TKE, some of a goodly amount of service and study, others for contributions to the Fraternity. These might include the Certified Fraternity Consultant (CFC), the Key Teke, the Order of the Silver Maple Leaf, the Medal of Excelence, and of course, the Order of the Golden Eagle.
Additional recognition such as "Life Loyal Teke" and other awards
have been and will continue to be conferred.
Lamentably, the Knights of Apollo have fallen on hard times within the Fraternity. Perhaps an emergence, a revival, something....will occur to enhance its prominence.
