Knights of Apollo history...kinda

Upon the installation of TKE's 100th chapter at the University of
Northern Colorado, 28 Feb 1953. three Teke field men issued the following proclamation, dated 1 Mar 1953, Greeley, Colorado
"Be it hereby known that on this 1st day of March, in the year of our Lord 1953, of our Lord 1953, and on the occasion of the installation of Delta Delta Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon; the 100th Charter Grant of our beloved fraternity, that the Order of the Knights of Apollo is hereby founded.
"Be it further known that all past and present field secretaries as of this date will be charter members of the Order of the Knights of the Order of the Knights of Apollo."

/s/ Wallace M Ginn
I have a copy of this document. TKE Headquarters was sent the original by Wally Ginn, surviving founder. Ginn has been active in
TKE all these years, although many years abroad in Germany and in England. He holds scroll #1, Gamma Tau (U of Denver) and is active at this time, 28 Apr 2004, in the Denver Alumni Chapter.
At the Sep 1-4 Conclave, 1959, held at the Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel in Detroit, a convening of the Knights and a luncheon brought forth a motion by Tex Flint, seconded by Leland F Leland
that Erik P Conard be recognized as the Official Historian for the Knights of Apollo. This was voted upon and passed unanimously.
