Thanks for the complements!

Well as far as our other chapters being mixed, it does depend on the school. At my chapter, we are predom black w/ one Asian member. At one of our other chapters, we have a mixture of White, Latina, Black, etc. I know at our school, it's really hard to draw in women of other cultures (i.e. the Indian/Asian population). We have a sorority for every ethnic/racial background here, so many people tend to flock to their own backgrounds. THat's something we just can't help...we can't make people join, ya know. Then, to top it off, being Greek is not a big deal on our campus. Men and women just don't jump at the chance to be Greek. So w/ all those things, it can be hard to get the racial/ethnic mixture we'd love to have. But we aren't giving up!
About our MSU chapter (I'm presuming that's who you're referring to, I'm not sure), I have also heard about them wishing to join the NPHC. But I'm not sure if that will happen or not. The reasons behind this have to do w/ our National Board though.
Finally, at my school, we do tend to mingle w/ the BGLOs at this point. We have only been around for a year and most of our good friends are in the BGLOs. So mixing w/ the them was natural to do once we got our chapter. We have been mixing w/ the other minority greeks though which is a start. No other BGLOs or other minority Greeks have mixed w/ the other historically white GLOs, so it's definitely gonna be a big task for us to tackle. Right now, we don't even know how we're going to approach the situation. But we're hoping to one day leap that fence and bring peeps together in some way. We've been doing our best to hold parties (usu. a good way to bring people together) that encompass everyone's taste in music and stuff. But that is so hard to do...you can't please everyone

I think what we'll have to do is to work w/ more student orgs that are mainly white, Indian, etc and then branch into the Greek orgs. It's just hard to do and b/c people are so afraid to try new things, who knows when the day will come when we can all truly come together! <shrug> But we're working on it! sorry this was so long
