I'd love a South Florida GC get-together! I will be in Coral Springs (Ft Laud area) for a couple of months.
I'm pricing out the costs to ship stuff home. I'm unloading all my furniture in LA, so all I will bring back are clothes, computer and some linens. And some books. Fitting into the guest room at my parents' home will be very very very tight.
I'm having doubts about everything, naturally.
Gave my roommate notice on Friday. If all goes as planned, I will be coming back early June.
Has anyone ridden Amtrak? I'm not too keen on driving cross-country again, and it will be a lot less to do Amtrak than ship my car and fly home.
