I feel the same way.
Our education system needs to be overhauled. This information should be included in
great detail in the history books of our elementary, jr. high/middle, and high schools in addition to the all of the other cultures that have contributed to the making of this nation. If this were the case, this discussion may not even be taking place..
For me, one day isn't enough. People have gotten so blah-say (sp?) over the fact that we celebrate 1 month and have seem to overlook the true importance of it all.
