One way we could handle the number of times the candle passes around our circle is by you just stating how many times it went around. Use whatever number is appropriate for the event you wish to celebrate.... so if you got engaged you could say "On the third pass, I blow it out" or whatever.
Just make sure you start the candle passing again in that same post for the next person who needs to blow it out.
