Went out with my ex for almost three years. He was in a fraternity, so we were the stereotypical greek couple. It was nice dating a Greek because he understood. Only two years into our relationship, we were talking about people who get their signifigant others' name tattooed. He said he wanted to get my name on his arm. I thought he was kidding. He wasn't. He surprised me the next day with the Chinese symbol for love on his arm with my name running vertically down the side of it. I freaked out. He kept asking me when I was going to get his name, and I told him I wasn't planning on getting anymore tattoos.

Then, I found out that he was planning on proposing to me at their formal and got really nervous. I realized that I loved him, but as a friend. We broke up and it's been four years. Needless to say, he got my name covered up.

I actually ran into some of his fraternity brothers at a club last weekend. It was fun catching up. Supposedly, he was supposed to be there too, but flaked at the last minute. It would have been a little awkward to see him, but it would have been nice. He was such a huge part of my life for three years and it's weird that we don't know each other anymore. We've both moved on and maybe one day we'll be able to be friends again.

This is my ex with his new GF. It's a small picture, but that dragon used to be my name...
