- A criminal case can't be settled out of court. The only options are
- dropping the charges, which I can't imagine California will do,
- a plea bargain, which the judge will have to accept and then impose a sentence with regard to any guilty pleas, and which I can't imagine Jacko will do, or
- letting a jury decide.
