This Ole Miss Greek NEVER said she was disappointed by her Ole Miss experience... I was simply naming reasons why my GLO should not come back onto campus. Please, do not put words into my mouth. I love Ole Miss. It is God's Country to me and my family. I loved every single moment of my time there. Yes, there were times that were better than others. But, that's the way it is. Those experiences I had that weren't the absolute greatest were not caused by the Ole Miss Greek system in and of itself. It was a result, moreso, of Mississippi's "small-town, know-everyone-in-the-state" tradition.
I believe it is easy for those outside of the the Ole Miss system to sit and judge how things are. But, Ole Miss is a world of its own. It's a world that I would never change. Not one bit. I wouldn't even change our group leaving campus. Our group left because of numbers. We had 70 -- everyone else had 200 or so. Leaving was probably inevitable. But, that does not mean that I think the Greek system at Ole Miss needs changing? No, I am proud to have come from such a strong system... In every system, there are groups that have to leave and those that have great success. It's just the ebb and flow of Greek Life.
You seem to be so ready to jump down people's throats regarding Ole Miss... Why is there so much hostility? I don't think anyone on here has attacked you in the light that you have portrayed in your comments.
