Round 1 for us used to be name tags that said, "Look at my SHOES!" Our actives might be wearing track shoes, ballet shoes, fuzzy slippers, and some creative-types would buy a pair of cheap keds, then decorate them with paint or something to look interesting. In addition, the philanthropy chair wore shoes that had a photo each on the toe of the last two most fun philanthropy events, the president might have two photos of the group engaging in something that affected the campus, the social chair had two photos of social events, etc....
It was very creative and a good way to tell all the rushees about us without long boring speeches. ;-)
