our campus was so psycho about the buddy system-- you literally couldn't go into a one-stall bathroom unescorted by a non-sister-- that we were never in a position to call our chapters.
I think it has a lot to do with the Panhellenic working to instill strong relations between the chapters. When we work together and have lives and friends outside our own sorority, our Greek System is stronger and more well-rounded.
