L.G. Balfour Fellowships- graduate scholarships, available to initiated members of men's and women's college fraternities, minimum 3.2 GPA, $1000-$3000 Jack Anson Fellowships-graduate scholarships, available to present or former staff members of a fraternity or sorority going into student personnel, college administrative work or contemplating work for his/her sorority or fraternity, $1000

The Balfour Fellowship program was initiated in 1985 and provides financial assistance to full-time students who are enrolled in accredited graduate or professional schools.

The fellowhips were established in honor of Lloyd G. Balfour of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Applicants must be initiated members of an NIC, NPC, NPHC, or PFA organization who are in good standing.

Awards are based upon scholastic achievement (a minimum of a 3.2 GPA or equivalent is required), campus and community involvement and leadership within one's fraternity/sorority.

Requirements (all postmarked by May 15):
• Completed application
• Official transcript from your college or universitiy with a minimum 3.2 GPA or equivalent (photocopies are not considered official)
• Letter from your chapter or Fraternity/Sorority Headquarters confirming that you are a member in good standing
• Copy of graduate or professional school acceptance letter.
Previous Balfour recipients are not eligible to apply.



Mary Louise Roller Panhellenic Scholarship-graduate scholarship,
available to women who have served on and been nominated by their
College Panhellenic Council, $1000

The Mary Lousie Roller Panhellenic Scholarship is an annual award of $1,000 awarded to an undergraduate woman who plans to attend graduate school the following fall. Named for Mary Louise Roller, this scholarship is funded by a grant from Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity in honor of Mrs. Roller's 33 year tenure on AOPi's Panhellenic Delegation.

The nominee must have displayed outstanding service to her local college Panhellenic during her undergraduate year. Each College Panhellenic may nominate one candidate per year.

Requirements (all postmarked by May 15):
• Completed application
• Official transcript from your college or university (copies not accepted)
• Letter of endorsement from your Panhellenic Council
• Letter of endorsement from your Panhellenic Advisor
• Copy of acceptance letter from graduate school


James H. McLaughlin Scholarship-undergraduate or graduate scholarship, available to transferee to a Canadian university who intends to start a fraternity/sorority chapter, or leader of a Canadian interest/colony group intending to affiliate with an international fraternity, or IFC/Panhellenic officer interested in attending a regional interfraternity or Panhellenic conference to learn more about the expansion of his/her Greek system, $750

All applications and support materials must be postmarked by May 15, 2004.
