I, Terry L. Salmi, do solemly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Folks, this tuesday, I will be reciting that oath, to be given to me by my father, a retired AF LtCol. I will then be flying to San Antonio International Airport where I will be bussed to Lackland AFB to start Basic Training. After 6 and a half weeks of hell, I will graduate and be an Airman First Class (two stripes) in the world's Greatest Air Force.
