The girl had come in and put a nice $900 ring on layaway. She brought the guy in (he lives in Arizona) to show it to him. They said they had a trade-in and were going to go home to get it. They come back all smiling, and he tells me she asked him to marry her when they got home. I thought, okay, a little strange...whatever.
Then they whip out the ring box, containing the trade-in ring, and it's a lady's bridal set.  WTH!?!?! So they're trading in a lady's engagement ring for HIS ring...and she doesn't have one. Okay, THAT's just odd. Not to mention they're both so young.
