I don't see why folks ever get worked up about people giving their opinions on how successful they think certain groups on their campus are.
They're only the opinion of one person.
If the Sigma Nu chapter there only as like 20 guys and the SAE chapter has 150, there is probably a reason that those 20 guys chose Sigma Nu and not SAE. I'd wager that there are plenty of guys in "lesser" groups that turned down bids for your higher ranked ones.
The point is, if you are looking to rush a house, the size, trophies, etc. don't really mean anything. It's how you fit in with each chapter that really matters.
People going through rush need to understand that what they are doing is essentially choosing or being chosen by a group of people that they will spend not only the next 4 years with, but the rest of their lives. In 20 years, you won't care how many trophies your fraternity had, just the kinds of people that you are now associated with because of them.
