I applied to be a Collegaite Development Consultant for DG this year. I was one of the 20 women to be offered an interview in Columbus in February. Only 10 women are chosen. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them. But the experience of interviewing and meeting the other candidates was one in itself. I would always encourage someone who feels strongly about their organization to apply for this type of position. I actually have a friend who has been chosen as a FIJI field secretary for the next two years. I told him that I'd live vicariously through him since he's going to be doing what I wanted to do!
