I am partial to pugs-they are hyper but not yappy-keep in mind they can have a lot of health problems (liver shunts, elongated soft palates, stenotic nares, everted saccules). Cosign. I always thought of rescue dogs as troubles, but my mom's dog hasn't been much trouble at all. You
can tell that he was abused (you can't pick up a newspaper in front of him, or raise your hand, even in jest - the poor thing just cringes and backs into a corner), but love is conquering that!
