When making travel arrangements to Convention, you may also want to look at flying into San Francisco, especially if you plan to do any sightseeing while you are in the area. It is about 2 hours from San Francisco to Sacramento, with plenty of places to visit in between. Also, sometimes it is possible to obtain less expensive airfare to SF.
