Consignment shops are wonderful for bridge and designer handbag deals, if they have a good reputation and are reliable. There are a couple out here in Kollyfornia that I've found good stuff for. For instance, I have my only Gucci, a brown leather bamboo-handle hobo, from a consigner. Cost me less than $50 and it is authentic.
At another consigner, a similar bag was more than $400.
The places I go to also sell fakes/replicas, but they clearly mark them and I appreciate that.
