How do I pasword protect my PC?

I (as was posted in the NEW Random thread) am going to have to give up my bedroom this weekend for company. There are also guests in their teens that are prety computer savvy that will be here. I dotn want anyone on my PC while I am here. Normally, I am the only one who uses it. How can I put a password on here temporarily to keep other off it? How would I late disable it?
