Interesting stuff. Boyd, a professor at USC (my alma mater), points out that there are no AfAm politicians on the national stage who command serious respect. He also puts out something that many may find controversial:
that we're moving more toward an individualized sense of being rather than a group identity, 40 years after the civil rights movement.
