Sometimes we don't wear our letters to functions around the city because we don't want people to think we are trying to be something that we are not. For example, the Alpha Probate is on Monday and I am going with some of my sisters. I think it would be a good idea if we went and represented. But, we don't want to cause problems with any other sororitiy that thinks we are trying to be Zeta Phi Betas.

This girl also told us one time that her friend who is a Zeta Phi Beta was mad at us because we use the title "Zeta" and that she was coming with some of her sisters to get us. I was just asking because I have seen both orgs and they are so different. I think the only thing we have in common is the first letter and that we are a sorority. I think that girl was also trying to start some because all the Zeta Phi Betas I have talked to said they have no problem with it.
Thats truly unfortunate. There are so many organizations with the same letters i.e. Omega Phi Beta, Gamma Phi Beta...there are only so many combinations and hundreds (many thousands?) of organizations. People need to get over it. The letters aren't copywritten/trademarked.
