In 12th grade, my AP English teacher gave out a list of the top 100 novels of the 20th century. I've always kept it and now that I'm out of college and have the time, I'm going to try and read it, even the ones I have already read. I also found lists of the top 50 American writers and British authors of all time with their memorable works so I'm going to try to do those now too. I finished "My Antonia" by Willa Cather a couple of weeks ago and just started on " The Grapes of Wrath" by Steinbeck. I know it's going to take me forever to read them all but I think it is definitely worth it.

A library by my house always has used book sales so it is a great way to get these books. I also recommend it for recent best sellers...you can get them for like 3 dollars in hardback! I'm a book junkie though...
