I'm all for doing whatever one wants, since it is a free society, but it's just that some people get a little too crazy. I'm always careful as to how I look, dress, etc. My clothes are never too far off from "badge attire". Generally, my regular casual day clothes are perhaps two or so notches below that. I don't even own real jeans.
ETA: I meant non-athletic clothes I wear in public. I wear whatever when I'm at home or if I'm working out.

I am going to disagree--- maybe some people are a little wild with their piercings and tats-- but so be it. Individuals have every right to adorn their bodies as they so choose. I don't want someone telling me what I can and cannot do--- it is my choice!!!
Yes you said it is a free society but who is to decide what is "too crazy"?
It is my place to decide if my 8 tattoos, piercing, and my stretched earlobes are too much. Granted all but one tat is hidden, the stretched lobes look like thick silver hoops, and the piercing--well only a select few know it is even there--it is not for public display.
But I am able to decide what is right for me, I don't want a lawmaker telling me I can't do something with my body.
