I'm glad you stated that because I was speaking with some friends about this article and we debated for at least an hour that regardless of numbers minority status will still be a label attributed to people of color if power isn't shifted. An example I always point to is look at South Africa. Black Africans outnumber White Africans significantly, yet they are still minorities in the sense that power and resources aren't at their disposal.
