This is unrelated but related...

I got a job offer at a country club that isn't necessarily what I want. Half the time I would be treated as a manager and half the time I would be treated as wait staff.

Upon telling my father that I wasn't thrilled about the idea of having to wait tables with a college degree, he replied that he hires all of his employees (he's a senior minister) with the understanding that if it comes down to the trash needing to be taken out, every employee-including him, the highest "manager" of the church- needs to be prepared to take it out.

So, yeah, maybe you don't want to be washing cars in a suit, but every place that you go and work... especially entry level... is going to have things that you'll have to do that maybe you don't want to. Whether it's washing cars or making coffee or taking out the trash, I think this is just something that ALL of us are going to have to face in this job market.
