Well, it would be pretty sad indeed if Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia didn't have lots of songs! We sing at every meeting and other fraternity gatherings. Province and national conventions usually include a "step sing," where brothers stand on the steps of a public building (at our last convention, it was in front of the US Capitol) and sing. We have songbook (the current Centennial edition is our sixth edition) that has probably 50 or so songs in it -- most fraternal but some just general.

Without question, the Phi Mu Alpha song is Hail, Sinfonia!. (For some reason, this and most of the other song links I put in open a browser window as well as RealPlayer.) We sing it at every meeting and gathering.

Particular chapters have particular favorites otherwise, but among the wide-spread favorites are:

On and Ever Upward!

A Sinfonia Anthem

The Red and Black

A Serenade to a Girl (The Phi Mu Alpha Sweetheart Song)

Viva L'Amour

and

The Sinfonia Parting Song (sung at the end of meetings).

And, we have a pretty awesone march: The Sinfonians (Men of Song). It can be played just by band (I have heard it used at University graduations), but as in the Windows Media file I linked, it has a part for men's chorus. Way, way cool!
