Day 4: (Thursday)
So we were going to go to the beach today....it's freaking cold on the coast this week, so we decide to drive down there to show Brianna the Hotel Del Coronado
As we're driving through Poway, some 16-year old freckle faced boy decides he's going to try and take out the right side of my car. Luckily I can pull over into the left lane and avoid the accident, but he doesn't even do anything to prevent slamming into my car, and then stares at us as he drives by at the next light and gives *us* the dirty look!
We get to Coronado, and not being used to free parking spaces available along the sidewalk in front of the beach, I park way far down from the way down to the beach! After walking a little bit in the cold air, we decide to get on out of Coronado and head over to SDSU to look up the ADPi chapter there.
We get to campus and we're driving along the road that the house is supposed to be on...can't find the house and we had to have passed it, so we turn around and go back and find it, so we park around the corner on the next street and walk back to the house. It's really cute, and I love their walkway leading up to the house. Brianna knocked on the door, but no one was home, so we headed out and I took her to see Fraternity Row at State (they're some really nice houses!) and then we came back home to relax for awhile. We'll see if we need to add an addendum later on tonight if anything else amusing occurs.......
