All of the rollercoasters on the strip are really fun, my personal favorite is "speed the ride" at the sahara. Don't go on the coaster on top of the stratosphere it is a big waste of money, but the "Big Shot" is really fun if you're into thrills. Defiantely go to the top of the Stratosphere at night you get an awesome view of the city lights. Then on your way back down you can stop for milkshakes at Roxy's diner and let the talented serving staff entertain you with a song.

The absolute Best italian food is at Cappazolis on Maryland Parkway up the street from UNLV its' about 5 min away from the strip but well worth the cab fare, it's a local dive but its fabulous.

if you don't want to walk too much there are monoralis that go between the MGM Grand and Ballys and also another one that connects the Bellagio, the Monte Carlo, Excalibur, Luxor, and the Manadalay Bay, they are all free.

If it's nightlife you crave The Palm is THE place Rain and Ghost Bar are the #1 party spots.

The coolest shopping Mall is The Desert Passage at the Aladdin it rains inside every half hour and it has alot of really neat shops, the second best would be the forum shops at Ceasars followed by the grand canal shoppes at the Venetian.

If you need to buy necessities, or things that aren't from designer labels take a short bus/cab ride down Flamingo there is a Target and if you go to the intersection and make a left on Marlyand parkway there is a Shopping mall which I gaurentee has better prices than anything on the strip.

Definately see all the free stuff the fountians and the garden at Bellagio, the volcano at the mirage, I can't remember if the pirate show is still going but if it is see that.

There are now penny slots at most casinos so you can really stretch your gambling dollar.
