Our undergrad chapter had a rush not long ago. I'm sorry but I was not impressed- AT ALL. There were of course, girls in red, girls who looked like they just rolled out of bed, a girl with flip-flops on, etc. I couldn't believe it. The one that took the cake was this girl who had on a see-through shirt! Many of the older graduate sorors were there and we were just all embarassed for her. I was like "what would possess you to go there?". I really want to pull some of the ladies to the side just to "talk" to them, I just really wanted to ask them if they realized how utterly disrespectful they were being.
The dumbest question, by far, was this one:

"Um, so, like, what do y'all talk about at your chapter meetings? What do you y'all do?"

I just wanted to reschedule the rush for another day. That did it for me.

Oh, my word. I would probably have had to leave the room.
