Okay, I've been to Vegas four times, so here are my recommendations. I too was going to recommend the Bellagio water show. It is amazing to watch. There is also the sinking of the ship down at Treasure Island. That is pretty interesting to watch. Since Sigfried and Roy is on an extended hiatus I'm sure sure if the animals are still in Vegas, if they are just go to The Mirage and they actually have glass windows so you could see the tigers. Like I said, don't know if the tigers are there or not but if so, they are beautiful animals. The MGM grand I believe also have some lions that you might be able to see (hey you could take a picture and name it Alphie). What else? The Tropicana used to have a good magic show, I'm not sure if it's still around or not though. There is also the jousting at The Excaliber. Mandalay Bay has a shark exhibit. It was about 15 bucks the last time I went (probably more now) but you go through the exhibits in a guided tour (via headphones) and can see lots of different types of exotic animals. Then eventually you end up in a room where sharks are swimming all around you and above you. It is pretty cool. Not that this is an exhibit or anything but just go to the Mandalay Bay if you have a chance because this hotel is beautiful, plus it is one of the few hotels on the strip where you walk into the casino and aren't blasted away by cigarette smoke.
The Paris and Aladdin are also beautiful hotels to check out. They don't have 'shows' persay, but they are pretty. One of the hotels (I believe The Paris) has gondala rides that you can go on.
There are 'underground' shopping centers also. One starts at I believe The Mirage and ends at Cesears Palace. The other is around the Aladdin and Paris hotels.
Hope that you have a great time. You should check to see if the UNLV chapter is on spring break or not, you might be able to meet a few sisters.
