Well, this isn't really a babysitting story but it's about the little guy I babysit.

One time he went on a field trip with his 5 yr. old kindergarden class. As they were heading back to his elementary school, his mom (a chaperone) heard him arguing with this little girl in his class about whether or not Pinocchio was real. Finally, he got frustrated with arguing with her and blurted out, "Pinocchio is just not real because I have told many lies, and my nose hasn't gotten any bigger!"

Another story is about a guy that's a year younger than me. His name is Kyle and, when he was little, The Wizard of Oz was his favorite movie. He watched it over and over. Well, one day he was watching it, and mind you, he was about 4 yrs. old, and he came in to the kitchen where his mom was and said, "Mama! The lion is a boy!" His mom says "I know, Kyle. Go back in the den and watch your movie." Well, he comes back in the kitchen 2 more times saying that the lion is a boy. On the 3rd time, his mom walked back in the den with him, and he said, "Mama, the lion is a boy, and he has a bow in his hair!"

Final story! Well, Kyle's younger sister Caroline went to a Christmas fair with her aunt when she was about 5. Caroline's mom gave Caroline's aunt $60 for Caroline to buy her Christmas presents. Well, Caroline bought a big bag with a teddy bear on it for $1. Caroline came back and "wrapped" her presents. On Christmas day, Caroline's grandma came to their house and, as she was leaving, Caroline's parents put the grandma's gifts in the bear bag. Caroline got really close to her mom and starting nudging her. Her mom was like "What's wrong Caroline?" Caroline said, "That's MY bag!" Her mom said that it was ok and they'd get her another bag and Caroline was indignant and said "No, that's MY bag and I paid GOOD money for that bag so that's MY bag and I want it back!" Well, she got it back in the end.
