coming from a married woman's perspective, it might be best to stay out of it. you may not be looked upon favorably by this person and your good intentions maybe misinterpreted.
i would definitely pray on this. you are in a catch 22 situaition here. whatever the ultimate decision is, be prepared to handle the consequences whatever they may be.
